R. Gaunt wrote a sympathy message

“By purest chance, I learned of Gary's passing today, May 3rd. Together with his brother, Ron (a special friend while I was in Chatham), and their father, Cecil, we were Harvester alumni. I remember Gary as irrepressibly funny, and big brother to Ron, giving himself all rights and privileges thereof. Ask Ron about a cigar, purchased when he and Leona were expecting their first child. It was tinder dry before presenting it to Gary, to celebrate the blessed event. Miss you guys. Bob Gaunt Toronto”
