He is survived by: his wife Patricia VanVliet (Herron); his children, Steven (Pam), Robert (Bonnie), Sharon (John) and Melissa (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brent (Alyssa), Adam (Alicia), Samantha, Ashley (Rob), Alexis and Ryan; and his siblings, Gerda DeBruin, Sida Slot, Greet Vianen, Corry, Jan VanVliet and Joop VanVliet.
