She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tope and Rhoda Tope; her husband Robert "Gordon" Aitken Sr.; and her brothers, Harry (Catherine) and Douglas (Marie).
She is survived by: her children, Jane Bahnmiller (David) of Medicine Hat, Robert Aitken (Alexis) of Chatham Township and John Aitken (Cindy) of Port Lambton; and also Fondly. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
