She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex VanWaterschoot and Bertha VanWaterschoot (Colpaart); her husband Robert Hunter; her son Richard Hereygers; her sister Hilda Menheere; and her brother-in-law Kent Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Ingrid Deprez, Karen (Mike), Jim Hereygers (Monica) and Jeff Hereygers; her grandchildren, Chris, Shaun, Alyssa, Madison, Shanon, Marshall, Ashley and Natasha; and her siblings, Henriette Desmit (Leo), Carla Peterson, Marylou VanDaele, Mary Agnes Bogaert (Brian) and Pete VanWaterschoot (Hugo Menheere). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
