He was predeceased by: his former wife Lea Szucs; his wife Bertha Wright; his daughter Lesa Jansen; his stepdaughter Janet Cunningham; his parents, Ivan Wright and Arletta Wright; and his sister Beatrice Watson Guy.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Doug Jansen (Melissa), Craig Jansen (Natalie), Erica Girimonte (Rob), Bryanna Alexander, Lea Wright, Mike Cunningham, Jocelyn, Heather Cunningham and Jennifer Rice (Mike); his great grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor, Maci, Hunter, Brody, Hayden and Audrey; and also, Henry Jansen, Lori, Daniel Collins, Lloyd, Michele Wright, Allan Cunningham, Dennis, Jacalyn Blommaert, Michelle, Marco Wright Convertino, Steven and Lynn Martin.
