He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Smith and Alberta Smith; his father-in-law Jack Siddall (Maggie Wabano); and his brothers, Ralph Smith and Don.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Smith; his children, Tabitha Smith (David) and Benjamin Smith; his grandchildren, Emily Smith Peckford, Kyle Smith, Kayla Pestowka and Kelli Pestowka; his mother-in-law Mary Watkins (late Harold); his sister Barb Siddall (late Bob); and his pet Burt. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
