Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Annabelle; and his sister Margaret. He is survived by: his son Joseph Parsons; and his sisters, Kathryn, Penny and Sharron. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and many friends.
