She was predeceased by : her parents, Don Thorpe and Agnes Thorpe. She is survived by : her siblings, David Thorpe (late Pat), Audrey Pyke (David), Dawna Dulong (Jack), Denise Geroux (Gary) and Dorothy Lethbridge (Doug); her sons, Michael Ritzer (Christine), Mathew Ritzer (Rebecca) and Marcus Ritzer (Jodi); her grandchildren, Rachel, Emilee (Tom), Kevin (Janelle), Colin (Emily), Ashley and Shelby; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Warren and Mitchell.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kendrick Funeral Home - Chatham (4 Victoria Ave, Chatham, ON N7L2Z6). A memorial service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery (55 Maple Leaf Dr, Chatham, ON N7M).
