He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Frederick Robinson and Ethel Robinson; his wife Noreen; and his siblings, Gwen Robinson, Betty Matthews, Charles and John Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Anderson of Toledo, Denise Wilkie (John) of Chatham, Shelley Carithers of Toledo, Beth Robinson of Chatham, Dan Robinson Jr. of Mississauga and Susan Shreve (Ryan) of Chatham; his siblings, Gloria Powell, Bill, Emily Robinson, Imelda Dungy, Bonnie Tatem, Paul and Peggy Robinson; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Robinson, Gwen Robinson and Joyce Robbins. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
