He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frances and Nick. He is survived by: his children, Cornelis Vreugdenhil (Kees), Nick (Yumiko), Helen, Andrew (Karen) and Corine (Stephen); his grandchildren, Nick, Kirsten, Stephanie, Mario, Sarah, Quentin, Eric, Max, Beth and Avery; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Kacie and Ellie; his siblings, Jim, Christine and Lena; and his wife Liz Alkema. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins, members of Liz's family and friends.
