He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Dorner (Tremblay); his daughter Vicki Cerda; his brothers, John (Margaret), Steve and George Dorner (Rose); his brother-in-law Phil Kearns; and his grandson Waylon Dorner.

He is survived by: his children, Charles Dorner (Brenda), Richard Dorner (Linda), Gloria Dorner, Michael Dorner (Julie) and Gerald Dorner; his sisters, Mary Kearns and Elizabeth Dorner; and his godchildren, Lori Arnold, Belinda Keith and Charlie Payne. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 0ne great great granddaughter.
