He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Challis and Mabel Challis (Danbrook); and his nephew Philip. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Challis (Tinline); his children, Jane Haskell (late Paul), Sherry Lenover (Mike) and Charles Challis; his grandchildren, Lindsay Formosa (Ryan), Sarah Haskell, Jacqueline Stronks (Gerard) and Alexandra Snyder (Duncan); his great grandchildren, Shelby, Dominik, Xander, Isla, Oliver, Jack and Kendall; and his nieces and nephews, Lucy, Bill, Cynthia, Leslie, Marcia, Joyce, Bruce, Myles, Becky, Merry, Judy and Peggy.
