Carl Lister Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Lister of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carl departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carl may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carl leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ethel Lister; his children, Scott Lister and Sandra Daniel (Patrick); his brother Dennis Lister (Deborah); and his parents, Carl Lister and Margaret Lister.
A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery (55 Maple Leaf Dr, Chatham, ON N7M). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sprucedale United Church (493 Victoria Ave, Chatham, ON N7L3B4).
