He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill McWhirter and Gwen McWhirter; his in-laws, Mary and Doug Armstrong; his siblings, Jo-Ann (Joy) and Keith; and his brother-in-law Don Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Ann (John); his grandchildren, Austin and Emily (Liam); his siblings, Harold (Alice), Carol (Wayne), Rob (Judy) and Nancy (Jeremy); his brothers-in-law, Derwyn (Kathy) and Dennis (Paula); and his close friends, Chris, Terry Porter, Sarah and Brent Bechard. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Donations made in memory of Bruce to the Windsor Regional Hospital - Cancer Centre and the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
