He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buchanan and Donna Buchanan (Broadbent); and his sisters, Linda Buchanan and Wendy Higgins (Buchanan). He is survived by: his spouse Kelly Buchanan (Crackel); his children, Jaden, Brendan and Kaylin Buchanan; his siblings, William (Charlene) and Cheryl Smith (Jim); his brother-in-law Jim Higgins (Valerie); his parents-in-law, Ewart and Nancy Crackel; his siblings-in-law, Corey, Audra Crackel, Kenny and Kim Crackel; and his nieces and nephews, Janet Coulis (Chris), Adam Smith, Olivia Crackel, Brady Crackel, Daniel Crackel and Sadie Crackel.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
