He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lawton and Lela Lawton; his daughter Mary Ann Lawton-Betts; and his brothers, Eldon and Dowie Lawton.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lawton; his children, Bradley, Krystal Lawton of Mobile and Alabama; his grandchildren, Christopher and Candace; his siblings, Linda, John Uher, Ben, Becky Anne Lawton and John Lawton; and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Lawton and Barbara Lawton.
