He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dawson and Lulu Dawson (Malott); and his brother-in-law Bill. He is survived by: his wife Helen Dawson (Watson); his children, Joey Dawson (Judy) and Tamara Moir (Peter); his grandchildren, Matthew Dawson (Tressa Galbraith), Heather Carnahan (Sean), Sarah Hill (Chris), Chelsea Corrente (David), Philip Moir (Jennifer) and Wyatt Moir (Shani); his great grandchildren, Natalie, Owen, Landon, Riley, Easton, Noah, Levi, Simeon, Greta-Lyn, Griffin and Everly; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Claeys (late Paul), Mary Watson and Carol Gagnier (Roger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
