Benjamin Chaffey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Chaffey of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on February 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Chaffey and Mary Chaffey; and his siblings, Carrie Ryan, Mickey O'Connell, Stan Chaffey, Craig Chaffey, Anna Chaffey, Marina Chaffey and Karl Chaffey.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Chaffey; his children, Rob Chaffey (Keitha), Dave Chaffey and Amanda Chaffey (Shane); his grandchildren, Cal, Raquel, Becca, Coda and Benji; and his siblings, Maude Brown, Terry Chaffey, Cyril Chaffey and Blanche Lance. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the McKinlay Reception Centre (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6).
In memory of Ben and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation may be made.
