He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonietta Matteis (Vena) and Joseph Matteis; and his siblings, Mary, Geno and Mike.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Nancy), Paul, Mark (Jennifer) and Steven Matteis; his grandchildren, Victoria, Alessandra and Nicholas; his sister Diane Mariconda (Eddie); and his sister-in-law Leona Matteis.
