He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Kurecka (Buchta) and Martin Kurecka; his sister Fran Propas (Bud); and his sister-in-law Georgena Ouellette (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Mary Kurecka (Vitek); his daughters, Diane Udvari and Karen Stone (Randy); his stepbrothers, Charlie Vasicek (Bessie) and Lloyd Vasicek (Sheila); and his sister-in-law Lillian Bednarik (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Chatham Concert Band Association or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
