She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendriks Berends and Maria Berends; her husband Henry E. Meurkes; her sister Wilhilmina; and her brother-in-law Martin Jansen.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lisa Dokter (Lance Phillip), Gord St. Denis (Kimberley), Amy Francis, David Meurkes, Ken and Chuck Chappus; and her friends, Pat, Gerry and Audrey. She is also survived by many friends, nieces & nephews.
