He was predeceased by: his parents, Dulcie (Moring) of Peppard and England (Clarence Gray); and his in-laws, Shirley and Richard Treleaven. He is survived by: his significant other Jane (Treleaven); his children, Amanda Vander Ploeg (Gerald) and Christopher Gray (Leslie); his grandsons, Samuel, Benjamin Vander Ploeg, Cameron and Jacob Gray; and his siblings, David Gray, Donald Gray and Patricia Staneland (Andrew).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ursula Catholic Church (205 Tweedsmuir Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M5N8). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery.
