He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Broomhead and Kathleen Broomhead. He is survived by: his wife Frenda Broomhead (Beadle); his children, Tracey Wynen (Marty), Todd Broomhead (Amy) and Taralee Byce (Henry); his grandchildren, Ali, Hayden, Jordyn, Zac, Adam, Katie and Bennet; and his siblings, Frank Broomhead (Karin) and Karen Buchan (Tony). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Remembrance donations to the to the Bignucolo Residence, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer society would be greatly appreciated. “I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Ross. I send my deepest sympathies to the family. Early in my career, when hunting for jobs, I often told the story of delivering eggs to several small communities in northern Ontario at interviews. I always looked forward to that last stop in Wawa for a piece of pie on the way home; apple for Ross, lemon meringue for me. Jen Vézina”
