He was predeceased by: his parent Fong Hong; and his sibling Harry "Boo" Hong (Donna). He is survived by: his children, Doug (Sylvie), Murray, Geoffrey (Blanche), Barry (Michelle), Steven and Marianne; his grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Maya and Mykie; his parent Sue Hong; and his siblings, Yen Hong (late Frances) and Jean Chan (late Andrew).
