She was predeceased by: her child Roger; her spouse Grant Winston Somers; and her siblings, Edward, Aldege (late Alice), Leonard (late Nan), Claude, Jeanette (late Gabriel), Raymond (late Charlene) and Donald (Jean).

She is survived by: her spouse Gerard Burns; her children, Lise Bilec (Michael) and Gail Bittolo (Dennis); her grandchildren, Tamara, Amber and Jodie; and her siblings, Lena Moyle (late Emerson), Isabelle Cunningham (Brian), Frank (Nancy), Bernie Watson (late Bruce) and Aurelie Double (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
