She was predeceased by: her husband Veikko Puro; her granddaughters, Jenina Brock and Tawnya Kenny; her parents, Yrjo Kilpinen and Hilda Kilpinen; and her siblings, Eeva Kilpinen, Kalevi and Olavi Kilpinen.
She is survived by: her children, Tuula Brock (late George), Erkki Puro (Susan), Anita Yurick (Don) and Pauli Puro (Karen); her grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Kristopher, Trista, Jonathon, Joel, Jenifer, Mikko, Amanda and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Logan, Donnovan, Arianna, Janessa, Declan, Gage, Jacob and Keegan.
