He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton McCarthy and Fay McCarthy. He is survived by: his siblings, Danny McCarthy (Brenda) of Petawawa, Michael McCarthy (Debbie) of Bowmanville, Howard of Oshawa, Pat McCarthy of Oshawa and Karen Spencer (Jamie) of Ajax; and his aunt Joan Gentili (Hank) of Deep River.
