With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Thomas Shier of Chalk River, Ontario, who passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Henry Shier; and his sisters, Lois Mortimer and Margaret Smith. He is survived by: his children, Laura Klodt (Brent) of Metcalf, Dale Shier of Chalk River, Edward Shier (Pauline) of Ottawa and Marcel Shier (Mary) of Totenham; his grandchildren, James, Valerie, Jason Klodt, Amanda (Brad), Kaila and Andrew Shier; his great grandchildren, Riely, Scarlett and Henry; and his sister Betty Busey of London.
