She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne Newman; her parents, Dorothy Thomas and Lee Thomas; and her brother George Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Leanne Crawford (Steven) and Mike Newman; and her grandchildren, Evan Vaughan (Marie-Philip), Daniel Vaughan (Teneshia), Matthew Crawford (Jayde), Josh Crawford (Alison) and Stevie Crawford (Mackenzie). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
