He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his children, Deidre Staples (Gary Begin) and Nicholas Staples (Karen); his grandchildren, Luke, Madelaine Begin, Nyla and Nora Staples; his brothers, John (Mary-Anne) and Robert (Jill); his siblings-in-law, Gretha, Martha (Owen), Thea, Honey, Yvonne (Chris), Peter (Jean) and Tina (Rick); and his parents, Gordon Staples and Muriel Staples.
