He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his parents, James Welch and Edna Marchand; and his siblings, Len, Harold, John, Ken, Jim, Joyce, Frances, Mary and Helen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pat (Brenda), Roger (Judy) and Elsa; and his children, Michael, Charles Jr. and Tammy. He is also survived by his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
