He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albin Markut and Pauline Maier Markut; his children, Christine Markut and Reinhold "Ryan" Markut Jr. (Marilyne Gosselin Turcotte); his grandsons, Benjamin Markut and Gabriel Markut; and his siblings, Alfred Markut and Waltraud Reiter.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Le Salons Funéraires Laurent Hill Funeral Homes Ltd. - Casselman (709 Principale St, Casselman, ON K0A1M0). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Le Paroisse Ste. Euphémie Parish (718 Principale St, Casselman, ON K0A1M0).
