He was predeceased by: his sister Christie Haig; and his parents, Alexander McLean Haig and Mary Elizabeth Haig. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Elaine Haig (Haw); his children, Paul McLean Haig (Melissa Hendry) of Carrying Place and Julie Kristin Naylor (Ken Naylor) of Consecon; his siblings, Gertrude Banting (Robert Banting) of Oakville and Andrew Haig of Carrying Place; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alex. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
