He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Dawson and Violet Dawson (Rooke); and his brother Lindsay (Donna). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Dawson (Healey); his children, Donald (Juehee) and Deanna Diaz (Dan); and his brother Allan (Louise). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
