He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Nancy; his daughters, Sylvia (Mike), Jill (Andrew) and Beth; his grandchildren, Eric (Rachel), Sara (Julian), Sonya (Evan) and Emil; his brothers, Walter (Doris) and Arthur (Vera); his sisters-in-law, Valentina and Tomi; and his parents, Dmitri Tarasuk and Anastasia Tarasuk. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
