It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric De Kleer of Carlsbad Springs, Ontario, who passed away on February 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Corrie (Tol); and his siblings, Teuntje (late Dirk Nyhuis), Nel (late Albert Van Benthem) and Peter. He is survived by: his children, Alice (late Richard Savage), Menno (Maria), Jack (Lyne), Diane Fitzsimmons and Teresa (Leo Vanderlaan); his grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan), Justin (Kelly), Tyler, Steph, Dylan (Vanessa), Evan, Bradley (Katie), Trevor, Jordan (Katlyn), Eric (Brittany), Samantha (Kurtis), Katie, Cheryl (Mikhael), Matthew and Zachariah; his great grandchildren, Layla, Benjamin, James, Deagan, Rylin, Daniel, Job, Jesse, Samuel, Saxson, Savannah, Autumn and Odin; and his sisters, Mary (late Kees Joustra), Christine (late John Lubbers) and Alice of Kleer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Daley Family Funeral Home (6971 Bank St, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church (3782 Russell Rd, Ottawa, ON K1G3N2).
