He was predeceased by: his parent Nicolas Straalen. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Van Straalen; his spouse Lia Van; his siblings, Nico, Alie, Tiny, Annie, Louis, Ria, Piet, Toos and Nelly; his children, Margaret Peck, Caroline, Rosemary and Brian Van Straalen; and his grandchildren, Adam Waldbillig, Lauren Waldbillig, Darren Peck, Tyler Yaphe and Maddie Yaphe.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
