He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Gilbert McIllwraith and Marguerite Aileen Nield; his wife Mary; and his daughter Eileen Alice McLean of Stittsville, ON.. He is survived by: his son Angus (Angela MacKay) of Halifax; his son-in-law Brian McLean of Stittsville; his siblings, Susan and Peter; and his grandchildren, Clyde, Grace, Lily, Thomas McLean of Stittsville and Kieran McIllwraith of Halifax, NS.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (28 Hawthorne Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C3A9). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
