She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnet Dowdall and Margaret Dowdall (Stewart); her husband Barkley Baird (Buck); and her siblings, Helena Baird, Doreen White, Mary Clapp and Cecil Dowdall.
She is survived by: her brother Bob Dowdall (Eleanor); her children, Sheila Hannah (Reg), Cathy Percy (Doug), Nancy Affleck (Greg), Beth (Brent Topping) and Ian Baird (Janet); and her grandchildren, Steven, Dan, Tim Hannah (Brian Kneebone), Trevor (Michelle), Troy Affleck (Teri), Mark, Nora Percy, Trisha Raney (Pat), Jamie Topping (Wendy Horne), Amanda Bellamy (Jason), Ryan Baird (Melisa), Bridgette Voutt (Josh) and Travis Rochon (Cherekee Rogers). She is also survived by her 22 great-grandchildren, nephews, and her friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1).
