She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Carwardine (Sandy); her son Colin; and her siblings, Earl, Harris, Delmar, Clayton, Wallace, Alton Scharf, Olive, Hazel, Edna and Inez.

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Bradley (Bob), Bonnie Watson (Lloyd) and Ronald Carwardine; her daughter-in-law Glenda; her grandsons, Brian Campbell, George Watson, Andy Carwardine, Brad Watson, Rob Carwardine, Peter Carwardine and Tommy Carwardine; and her great grandchildren, Kristy, Zoe, Nicholas, Daelyn, Emma, Brody, Chloe, Riley, Kenzie and Austin.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice Care Ottawa in Muriel's name would be appreciated by the family.
