Maurice Belec Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Belec (Carleton Place, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Nadon; his children, Yves, Lawrence (Giulia) and Carole (Richard Bedor); and his grandchildren, Sheena, Dana, Jenna and Connor. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held at Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Nepean on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. *Pursuant to current COVID-19 guidelines, guests are reminded that space is limited and you may be required to wait before entering. As well guests must wear face coverings, respect social distancing and refrain from usual expressions of sympathy such as shaking hands, hugging and kissing. * A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 28 Hawthorne Avenue, Carleton Place on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
