Marion Helgason Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Helgason (Carleton Place, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Marion shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marion farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bernard (Bernie); her sons, Peter (Maribeth) and David (Juliann); her daughter-in-law Rosalind; her grandchildren, Callie, Courtney (Jamal), Rick (Liz) and Katrina (Antonio); her father John Aitken; and her sisters, Olive and Dorothy. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
