She was predeceased by: her spouse Jan; and her parents, Otto Schutz and Emilie Schutz. She is survived by: her children, Bruno (Susie), Hans (Jennifer), Peter (Dawn Daniels), Ilse (Sterling Jones) and Annastasia (John MacKinnon); and her sister Heidi Hertel.
