She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Whitehorne and Winnie Whitehorne; and her sister Joan Neilson (Barrie Neilson). She is survived by: her husband Doug; her children, Lisa (Derek Code), Michael (Tracy Wilson) and James (Kristen Moir); her grandchildren, Julia, Hunter Code and Jesse Taylor; and her friend Lois Kroeger.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to the Arnprior & District Humane Society or the Wild Bird Care Centre.
