She was predeceased by: her husband Mac Saunders; her daughter Karen Dorman (late David); her parents, Benjamin Stanzel and Edith Stanzel; and her siblings, Beth and Mervyn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Butler (Layne), Debbie Brennan (Jeff) and Helen Saunders (Tom Hoffman); her grandchildren, Angela (Les), Phillip (Maggie), Heather, Kathleen and Lily; and her sisters, June, Judy and Gloria.
