She is survived by: her children, William Bray (Colleen), Donna-Jean MacDonald (Stewart) and Deborah-Anne Flynn (Jerry). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

“Words cannot express my condolences for your loss. 💐Joan was an exceptionally kind and generous person! Years ago she moved into an apartment near my home. She saw us setting up for a birthday party. Stopping to introduce herself for a few minutes she returned a little later with a twoonie to give my son for his birthday. This was the first memory my family has of Joan. Even just before Covid if I ran into her she still made a point of saying hi and giving me a hug. Christy”
