He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Pete" and Evelyn (Cooke); and his brothers, Stewart (late Adeline) and Jim. He is survived by: his friend Richard Alexander; and his siblings, Patricia (late Ken Campbell), Brian (Sandra) and Peter (Cathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
