He was predeceased by: his father Nigel Cowpland; his grandparents, Reta, Ivan Wark, Edna Goffin and DouglasCowpland Sr. (UK); and his grandson Peace Cowpland-Reid.

He is survived by: his wife Eryn Baker; his children, Kayla, Erika, Andrew, Emma and Vincent Cowpland; his grandchild Rhys Cowpland-Reid; his mother Diane Wark; his siblings, Jamie Cowpland and Rick Gleason; his nieces and nephews, Shelby, Dylan Scharfe, Morgan, Zakary of Abigail, JJ and Spencer Cowpland; his stepsiblings, Cody and Amanda Smithson; his stepparents, Christine Brodie and David Smithson; and his mother-in-law Diana Cavers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
