He was predeceased by: his children, Donna and Scott; his brothers, Stuart, Ian, Bruce and Noel; and his parents, Donald (Mina McIvor) and Trinidad.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Muise; his children, Lenora McIvor (Shannon Gray) and Greg McIvor (Janet); his grandchildren, Liam Martin (Marielle Chartier Henault), Nicole McIvor (Jean-Francois Chapman), Brennan Martin, Jonathan McIvor (Chantal), Dana Chasson (Mark) and Kelsey McIvor (John Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Maggie Chasson, Amos Chasson, Rebecka-Rose Chapman, Stella Martin and Kim Martin; and his siblings, David McIvor (Yvonne), Alan McIvor and Margaret Okelberry (Maggie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1).
