He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur, Patricia Basten, Elizabeth Dettner and George Belbin. He is survived by: his parents, Tim (Diane) and Irene; his brother Fraser (Brittany); his nephew Kiptyn; his niece Shayla; and his grandparents, Wolfgang Dettner (Linda) and Gert Belbin. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Carleton County 4H Club or the Friends of Algonquin Park in Curtis's memory would be appreciated by the family.
